Pediatric patients (≤ 5 years old) and those not wanting to undergo surgery can still experience improved hearing by wearing the Alpha 2 MPO sound processor on a softband or headband.

The bone-anchored hearing system (BAHS) is comprised of the titanium encased magnetic implant3, the Attract® magnetic spacer, and the Alpha 2 MPO sound processor.

The magnetic implant is the smallest on the market and lies completely under the skin.3,4 It is surgically placed and is indicated for patients 5 years and older. Sophono currently boasts the lowest profile implant on the market and is a safe alternative to more intrusive implants.5
